El goleador Carlos Saucedo no aguantó la emoción y se quebró tras enterarse de que era el ganador del Premio Mayor 2012-2013. Saucedo en contacto con el programa Los Más Buscados de EL DEBER Radio señaló que es un premio al esfuerzo y a su constancia.
“Este premio va dedicado para mi esposa que aguantó muchas cosas conmigo. No tenía un buen salario para vivir del fútbol y ella me bancó”, señaló el conocido ‘Caballo’ Saucedo antes de cortar la comunicación por un momento y reconocer que estaba emocionado. “Van a disculpar”, dijo antes de retomar el diálogo vía telefónica.
El delantero cruceño recibió la noticia en la concentración de la selección boliviana que se encuentra en la ciudad de La Paz. La ‘verde’ mañana enfrentará a Venezuela por las eliminatorias a Brasil 2014. “Será una motivación extra”, afirmó el goleador.
El ganador del Premio Mayor también ponderó el apoyo de sus compañeros de equipo (San José), de sus padres e indicó que la dedicación también va para ellos. “Debo agradecer a todos los periodistas que votaron por mí y en especial a Dios y a la Virgencita de Cotoca, que me acompaña en todo momento”, afirmó. La gala de distinción será el 18 de junio en el salón Pedro y Rosa de esta casa periodística.
