The 21-year-old, a product of the Tahuichi Soccer Academy in Bolivia, expects to join Spurs and play for their reserves

An unknown Bolivian winger says he has signed a pre-contract with Tottenham ahead of a loan switch to north London.

Julio Cesar Torres claims he will travel to England at the end of April and join up with the Spurs reserves.

The 21-year-old, a product of the Tahuichi Soccer Academy in Bolivia, has never played for a professional club.

In an interview with Bolivian outlet Red Uno, the winger and his agent claim a one-year loan deal with an option to buy has already been agreed with Spurs – who have not confirmed the news.

The supposed transfer has become a big story in the Bolivian media after the player and his agent ‘confirmed’ the move on a local TV show at the end of last week.
